♪♫ Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall…All you have to do is call ♫♪ Yea, that’s my kids! Seriously, who would have thought that one woman could give birth to four kids that are so entirely different and actually mimic the seasons of our lives? These beautiful children are MY world and their similarities and differences amaze me on a daily basis. They are like the seasons, and I’m proud to call them MINE!
The “seasons” of my life don’t fall in order, but they are as follows (in age order of course):
#1 – Bry, My Spring! She is full of life and beauty! Flowers and rain! Ups and downs! It’s never a dull moment with this one, and there hasn’t been a dull moment since her birth some 22 years ago! Spring is full of hope, and this little gem was my hope for a real future. She is the light that fuels my life! She is my hope for a brighter future! She is the beautiful, bright flower that blooms through the showers. She is my world!
#2 – Paet, My Fall! Full of turmoil and excitement! The beauty of the storms, the changing of the weather, the color of the leaves! She is the turmoil that is Autumn, and my life. She is the beauty that is Fall. She is the wind that blows in beautiful changes to my surroundings. She is this beauty, and she is my world!
#3 – The Bug, My Winter! The cold, crazy months! The joy of Christmas! The birth of a new year! This season is my Bug all wrapped up in one! Such a crazy season full of emotions. She is the wind that blows cold, and the joy that brings happiness and giving. She is my winter wonderland, and she is my world!
#4 – Bubby, My Summer! The warmth, the sunshine, the season of happiness and good times! This is my Bubby! His mere presence emits sunshine and fun! You can bask in his glory and fun-loving personality just like you can in the sun! Waves of emotion, just like the waves on the beach. Rays of the sun! This is my Bubby, and he is my world!
And this is MY world! Funny how our own lives mimic the entire world. Nature is all around us and it’s a beautiful thing! And my kids are a beautiful thing! I am blessed, and I appreciate my world! I hope you see the beauty in your own life! I just can’t say that enough!
