Happy Valentine’s Day from Galveston!

They say home is where the heart is. Well I’m happy to report that on this Valentine’s Day 2013, my heart and my home are one again. It’s the “day of love” and I’m loving everything about my life right now. I’m exactly where I want to be in both physical location and life in general. It’s a good feeling.
Is my life perfect? Not at all. Am I back on track to my perfect life? You bet your sweet pink puffy heart I am. Bringing me back to the island was the best Valentine’s gift B could have given me. We belong here. We are happy here. We are whole here.
I hope your Valentine’s Day has been filled with love, laughter, family, and peace. The flowers, cards, candy, and gifts are nice but without the true emotions and a sense of belonging, they seem a little hollow.
Happy Valentine’s Day from my little slice of heaven to yours. Peace, love, and sparkle on!

  1. I don’t think a perfect life exists. ;)

  2. I think we have perfect moments in life, but how boring it would be if it was all perfect. Our cheeks would hurt from smiling and we wouldn’t have anything to blog about!

  3. It doesn’t. But happy does. As long as you can find your happy place, it’s all going to be OK. :)
