Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky. ~Rainer Maria Rilke
You know my life has been a struggle over the past couple of years. You know we’ve had issues in my house, in my marriage. I don’t hide stuff like most people do. Well I don’t hide everything anyway. Some “stuff” is just best left unsaid.
But life is looking up these days. When I look to the sky at night, I feel peace. When I look within my own home these days, I feel a peace I haven’t felt in over a year and a half.
There’s always been love in my home, but sometimes the chaos…the storms…outweigh the good. We forget what’s important. The only thing that is truly important is my family…my marriage. We’re getting back to us. We’re finding love again.
I love the night sky, I love my surroundings, I love my family, and I love being in love again.
Count your blessing on a daily basis. They are fleeting and you never know when they’ll end. Cherish your family. Cherish your surroundings. And above all else, never forget who you are!
