Do You Have a Princess with a Birthday in the Near Future Too? Disney #DreamParty Ideas!

I’m sharing these Disney #DreamParty ideas as part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias. Even though the ideas aren’t mine, since we all know I bump off my friends for crafts and creativity, I’m thrilled to be sharing them with you.
Next month Bug turns 7. That’s right SEVEN and that’s a pretty big deal. She’s almost a teenager or something (I always exaggerate, you know that by now) but luckily she still digs Disney and all things princess. This BIG day calls for a BIG celebration. The only problem is, we all know that although I wish I could say that I’m clever and crafty, I just can’t. But luckily, I have friends that are, and I bump off their ideas all the time which makes my little minions think that I am indeed crafty and clever. Hey wait…maybe that does make me clever after all.
For Bug’s birthday, I want to keep the cuteness high but the cost and work for me low. I’m picky like that. My friend, Jillian, over at the Mommy Testers is always hosting these elaborate parties for her daughter, for friends, for her husband…you name it, she’s hosting these parties. I *might* be a little jealous of her mad skills.
See what I mean? She threw this little get together to reward her daughter for some pretty amazing math accomplishments. At first, I looked at this and almost clicked away. I can’t do anything like this for Bug. That’s just too much for this not-so-crafty momma. But then I read on.
“This week I set out to create a Disney Princess #DreamParty celebration to reward Kayla and couldn’t believe how easy it was to put together. Just so you know, I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client. #DreamParty #cbias Everything you see here is my personal and picky opinion.”

Jillian shares her tips for throwing these amazing parties and it’s really way easier than I thought. Here’s what she had to say:

“When it comes to parties and celebrations I like to keep my decor relatively simple and do a mix of homemade and store bought. Nothing is ever planned far in advance and I craft as ideas come to me. So I was super excited when I was cruising the aisles of Walmart and saw that Hallmark has really stepped up their game and created this whole new Dream Party line of party supplies which go far beyond the thin poly goody bags of my childhood.”

“The best part of this little celebration was that…I only went to one store to get everything including the decorations, the cake, the little toys and the extra items I used to customize the decor.  One stop.  That’s about 4 less than past birthday parties.”

If you’re like me and have a HUGE birthday (or any other occasion) party around the corner, don’t fret. Just hop on over to read tips from Jillian on how to make it a beautiful success without all of the expense, time, and trouble. Can’t wait to see what you do for Bug’s 7th b’day! 🙂

  5. All these awesome Princess Party posts makes me want to find little girl to throw one for! And such super frugal decor and favor ideas too. I love the little popcorn cones and how she used flash cards for the banner – how fun!

  6. clgossett says:

You see, this is why I have a little one of each gender. I can play princess and cars and have an excuse to do both!

  7. clgossett says:

She’s asking for Little Mermaid now. Ugh, this kid is gonna kill me. I have to go Google again.

  8. Haha, that was my plan too – until I ended up with 2 boys in a row! The hubby’s family is known for producing 90% boys, so my odds weren’t so great!
