Holiday Movies for Kids: Mickey’s Christmas Carol PLUS a Very Merry Pooh Year

I really should let you know that I received the following DVDs with bonus features to facilitate this family movie night from Click Communications and their client. As always, all of the photos, ideas, and opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
I’m sure I’ve said this time and time again, but I don’t watch a lot of TV, or movies, or anything but things that pop up in this little black box. I just don’t have the time I guess, or I don’t care to. I’m not sure which it is, but it is what it is. Other than this time of year. I’m a sap for holiday movies. A SAP. And I could spend hours on end making my family watch them with me watching them. And even though the holiday movies I watch are always family friendly, sometimes they are movies that don’t capture my children’s hearts, imaginations, nor interests.

And then there are those times that I find common ground. We ALL love Disney movies so when I heard that the 30th Anniversary Special Edition of Mickey’s Christmas Carol and Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year both became available on Blu-ray and DVD on November 5th, I knew they were both holiday movies that the whole family could and would enjoy!

And (as always) I was right. Just the covers of these movies got Bubby in the holiday spirit. He got a sneak peek of the movies today and loved them. We’ll sit down as a family and watch them in their entirety when everyone gets a break from work and/or school for Thanksgiving. Both come in Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy and offer some amazing extras (you’ll have to buy them to find out what those extras are) that are sure to excite the little ones in your family.

Remember that Blu-rays and DVDs make great stocking stuffers too! These 2 are sure to be a big hit this year for the whole family. Want to know more about them?

Mickey’s Christmas Carol:

Make the seaon merry as Mickey, Goofy, Donald and all their pals star in a heartwarming retelling of Dickens’ unforgettable holiday tale. Ebenezer Scrooge (Scrooge McDuck) is far too greedy to understand that Christmas is a time for kindness and generosity. But with the guideance of some wise ghosts (Goofy and Jiminy Cricket) and a bunch of newfound friends, Scrooge learns to embrace the spirit of the season.

Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year:

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but Rabbit will only discover the true spirit of the season after his pals make misguided New Year’s resolutions to change – with hilarious and heartfelt results! This special “Gift of Friendship Edition” is sure to become a shared family tradition for generations to come!

These are Disney classics that are now available on Blu-ray Hi-Def for the first time ever. Be sure to pick up your copies today and let me know what you think. Both get a Bubby two thumbs up. What are your favorite holiday family movies? Inquiring minds want to know. And stay tuned. We have a few more Disney movies you’ll want to hear about coming real soon!
