For the record, I received the featured products from Double Duty Divas and Pampers to facilitate this post. As always all opinions, ideas, and photos are entirely my own.
I consider myself very fortunate to be the mother of 4 amazingly beautiful and incredibly unique children. As you can imagine, being the mother of 4 babies from the ages of 24 down to 5, I’ve been honored (and sometimes saddened) to celebrate the “firsts” in life with them. From first smiles, first words, first steps, first days of school, first boyfriends, first heartbreaks (*SIGH*), first high school graduation, first jobs, to our latest and greatest first. Our Paetyn is about to have our first grandbaby, as in any day now!
We can’t wait to meet Natalie and share in her firsts. But alas, Paetyn and CJ live in Georgia, and we’re in Texas. I’m going to miss a lot of firsts. *SIGH*
I’ve been sharing in her pregnancy through text, email, and many (oh so many) phone calls, but I’m just not there. I love these “kids” and I know they will make amazing parents. They’re both loving, kind-hearted, and they love cartoons more than any kid ever could. That’s a winning combination right there! But are they ready? Do they have everything they need? How can I share in Natalie’s firsts without actually being there?
Thanks to the great folks at Pampers, I’m helping Paetyn capture Natalie’s firsts so she can share them with us. Poppy, Mimi, Aunt Kylee (age 7) and Uncle Bubby (age 5) don’t have to miss all of the #SwaddlersFirsts after all.
Along with the Pampers Swaddlers, the softest diaper ever, they sent Natalie her first bathrobe, a Baby’s First Friend Doudou Bear, her first tooth and first curl treasure boxes, some wipes (because you can never have too many of those), a VTech Sit to Stand Learning Walker, and a $50 Shutterfly Gift Card that will help them share all of her firsts with us.
Since we won’t be heading to Georgia until late January, I packaged everything up, along with some other essentials I’ve been picking up along the way, and we shipped it off so that they’ll have this care package by the time Natalie graces the world. I have a lot more to bring her when we visit, but this is a great start. I know Paetyn will be thrilled. She’s always been the type to appreciate things and I’m sure she’ll appreciate that I recommend Pampers to her.
I used Swaddlers on both of my little ones but they are now available in size 4 and 5 too which means Natalie can stay in the Swaddlers throughout her diapering years to make sure she’s dry and comfortable at all times.
And to celebrate Swaddlers sizes 4 and 5, Pampers has 30 days of incredible giveaways and a grand prize of FREE Swaddlers diapers and wipes for a year! Join the celebration and enter their 30 days of sweeps on the Pampers Facebook page.
And you won’t want to miss the #SwaddlersFirsts Twitter Party on 12/5/13 at 9:00 pm EST. You need to RSVP and follow all of the hosts in order to be eligible to win prizes, but you really want to do that because the prizes include:
