Make More Moments with the Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet with Intel Inside

You should probably know, I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and its client. But as always, all opinions, ideas, and photos are entirely my own.
A new tablet has been on my wish list for awhile now. As a work at home mom, I’m tied down to my computer. And although I have a laptop, I just sit here, always, because I don’t feel like lugging the laptop around. My Android phone keeps me connected while I’m on the go but let’s face it, I’m not getting any younger and the screen is too small to really see all of the things I need to see. Plus my battery can’t handle all of the abuse. I definitely wanted a Windows 8 Tablet because that’s my platform of choice. But I really didn’t have a clue where to begin. As you might have gathered, I’m not overly tech savvy. I love gadgets of course but finding the right one is a chore for me.
I turned to a name that I trust and have used for years. No, of course I didn’t head to a store. That would mean admitting that I’m not all that bright when it comes to electronic purchases. I’m not about to do that. had all of the information I needed and their Tech Dudes on chat are amazing. They helped me find just what I was looking for without very much effort at all on my part! He asked the questions. I gave him the answers. You see, I know what I want, I just don’t always know how to get there on my own so we ran down the list.
I need my email at my fingertips, and my calendar too. They are both tied to my Gmail account and I love the notifications I get on my laptop. I want that on my tablet too. Yes, I get them on my Android phone, but I need something bigger than that but portable enough to carry with me when we hit the playground, when I head to school to drop off or pick up my daughter, or when we’re at appointments or running errands. And I want the Windows 8 platform because I’ve grown accustomed to it on my new laptop.
It had to have Intel inside. Every other gadget I own has Intel inside and although I don’t understand the technical side of Intel, I know it helps me move at the speed of light and feel Intel-ligent. So that’s a must!
My new tablet would be something that I could use in the kitchen. I often Google recipes when I’m in a pinch. I stay busy and often forget to take out anything for dinner so I find myself digging in the freezer for something I can cook without thawing. But I hate serving boring dinners so I search how to spruce up a frozen product and I find myself writing down the recipe and carrying it to the kitchen with me. There has to be a better way!
And this little spot on the internet of mine takes a lot of work. What if I’m out and have an amazing idea for a post? The keyboard on my phone isn’t all that friendly. I need something that will allow me to take pictures and post to my blog while I’m away. I’ve got deadlines to meet but I would still love to spend more time with my family out and about. I need to make more moments with my family.
This photo was actually taken on my new Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet. The quality is so much better than my phone!
Because at the end of the day, the moments I spend with my family, really enjoying them, are the moments I’ll cherish for a lifetime. I need for this tablet to have a camera worthy of capturing these moments. And I want that camera to not only allow the selfie moments (like a lot of tablets) but to also let me capture the moments as I see them. Yes, front and back camera shots are definitely important.
I wanted all of the apps I have available on my computer and on my phone. I wanted a battery that could withstand my excessive use. I wanted something that wasn’t too heavy. I wanted a tablet that was an easy set up for this tech dummy. I wanted my tablet to suit MY needs. I wanted a lot. I wanted a “supertool”. He knew what I wanted apparently and suggested the Dell Venue 8 (not too big, not too small) Pro Tablet.

So what’s inside this “supertool” other than Intel? What’s NOT inside this tablet? You get:
  • Great battery life.
  • Fast and responsive internet searches and app downloads.
  • Rich media experiences with front and rear cameras and video tools.
  • So many apps available you can’t even imagine!
  • Only Windows 8 tablets like this one with Intel inside give you an uncompromised experience with the ability to let you seamlessly download new and existing Windows software and apps.
  • Intel Atom processors are optimized for a super speed app experience, responsive web browsing, stunning 3D graphics, advanced camera capabilities, and vivid HD video with energy efficiency for outstanding battery life.
By gadget, I think he had me pegged!
Purchasing on the Dell site is so easy. Just select your preference and go through the steps. It even tells you the estimated shipping date before you order. Everything is clear, understandable, and it’s easy to navigate. Plus, if you’re a tech dummy like me, you don’t even have to do the research. They know what you want even if you don’t! I’m surfing away, checking my email, getting notifications on due dates, snapping pictures, and capturing memories and making more “moments” in my life thanks to my new Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet. Who knew life could be this simple on the go? This would be the perfect Christmas gift for anyone that needs to stay connected while on the go this year.

If you’re looking for an easy to use (seriously, set up was a snap…just sign up with your email account and all of your computer information just flows over on to your tablet), extended battery, light-weight (like as in .87 pounds), super tool, this is the tablet for you.
