We all know I'm obsessed with the waves and the Galveston sky. Of course I am. Who wouldn't be? We have beauty all around us and if we don't appreciate it, we have issues we need to deal with.
This morning, while driving Bug to school, I noticed the sunrise over the Seawall. The amazing clouds, the calm waters, the beautiful colors, the opening to the heavens...they were all amazing. At the risk of being late for school, I couldn't help but pull over. I had to admire this beauty. HAD TO!
I wanted to share this with you. I wanted to record this moment. I wanted the peace to wash over me. I was able to accomplish all of those things and still get Bug to school on time.
Today I felt accomplished and I was productive. I don't know who painted this picture (although I have a very good idea) but I'm glad I got to witness it and capture it forever.
Beautiful! I know who painted it. ;-)ReplyDelete
I couldn't agree more my friend! :)ReplyDelete
I definitely know who painted that scene. I've wanted to stop by the lake on the way to work before, but I never had the option of being late and never knew what I'd see in the morning. I love all of your seawall photos!ReplyDelete
I've decided since moving back that I need to stop more often and appreciate things. I've been trying. The GCP series was a way of keeping myself on track more than anything else. I'm happy others like the photos too. :)ReplyDelete
That sky was so incredible, like a blanket, or cotton balls, or something. Just incredible!ReplyDelete
